Milo Eifler entered the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He was signed by the New York Jets as a free agent.



Eifler’s football career started at Bishop O’Dowd High School. He was a utility player who played as a running back and linebacker.

Eifler was the No. 94 prospect in the nation according to Scout.com, No. 118 according to Rivals.com, No. 142 according to 247Sports.com, and No. 280 according to ESPN.



Although Eifler did not participate in football as a freshman, he gave it a shot as a sophomore thanks to the encouragement of Hardy Nickerson.

As a junior, he was named to the first team of the WACC, the third team of the East Bay, and the honorable mention list of the San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro.

As a senior, he was recognized as an All-West Alameda County Conference-Foothill League first-team outside linebacker. Eifler also got an invitation to the United States American Army Bowl.

Eifler attended the University of Washington on scholarship. He played two seasons of college football for the Washington Huskies.

He did not appear in any games during his redshirt freshman season in 2016. The following season, he participated in all 13 games and made a total of six tackles.

In 2018, Eifler moved to the University of Illinois, but he couldn’t play there because of transfer rules. Eifler played in all 13 of Illinois’ games in 2019 and started 12 of them at linebacker. He made 69 total stops, 10 of which were for a loss, and scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery against Minnesota.
