As a rookie linebacker in 2020, he played in 16 games with six starts, recording 40 total tackles, one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, one pass defensed, one forced fumble, and six special teams tackles. Week 14 of 2021 saw Walker’s Cam Newton interception, which he returned 66 yards for a touchdown in a 29-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
