He recorded 40 total tackles as a rookie linebacker in 2020, one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and six special teams stops in 16 games with six starts. In Week 14 of the 2021 season, Walker picked off a pass from Cam Newton and returned it 66 yards for a score as part of a victory over the Carolina Panthers of 29-21.
