A cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Nathan “Nate” Hairston is a professional football player. He stands 1.83 meters tall and weighs 84 kilograms. He played football at Governor Thomas Johnson High School, where he attended. He attended Temple University after high school, where he played college football for the Temple Owls.

Hairston was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts with the 158th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was traded to the New York Jets in August 2019. In September 2020, he was released during the final roster cuts, but two days later, he was re-signed. On October 1, 2020, the Jets released him.

He was added that month to the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad. Out of the practice squad of the Ravens, he was acquired by the Denver Broncos in December 2020. The Broncos cut him loose on April 8, 2021. He resigned from the organization the next day. He was discharged on August 31, 2021, and the practice squad re-signed him the next day.
