Netane Muti plays guard professionally for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He is 143 kg and 1.91 m tall. He played football at Leilehua High School, where he attended classes. For the Fresno State Bulldogs, he played collegiate football at California State University, Fresno.

He missed his first season at Fresno State because of a preseason Achilles injury. He began each of the 14 games while a redshirt freshman in 2017. In acknowledgment of his efforts, he received an Honorable Mention All-Mountain West award. His season was cut short in 2018 after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in the third game of the year.

He underwent surgery for a new injury in 2019, one that prevented him from participating in the final nine games of the season as a redshirt junior. This injury was a Lisfranc foot issue. When he declared for the 2020 NFL Draft in January of that year, he gave up his last season of NCAA eligibility. In the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected Muti with the 181st overall pick.

When training camp started in July 2020, he was listed as having an active/non-football injury. Six days later, he was put back on the active roster. He was released by the Broncos on August 30, 2022, and was added to the practice squad the following day.
