He played collegiate football for the Missouri Tigers football team while attending the University of Missouri. Bolton was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 58th overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft. He committed to play for the Chiefs in May 2021, agreeing to a $5.84 million contract.
