Baseball player Nicholas Fortes, often known by his professional as Nick Fortes, is well-known for playing for the Miami Marlins. He serves as the Marlins’ catcher. He stands 1.80 meters tall and receives a yearly salary from the team of $503,826.

On November 11, 1996, in DeLand, Florida, Nick was born in the United States. At DeLand High School in DeLand, Florida, he participated in baseball. He attended the University of Mississippi after high school and played baseball for the Rebels there. He was selected by the Miami Marlins in the fourth round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

That year, he made his professional debut with the Greensboro Grasshoppers, Batavia Muckdogs, and GCL Marlins. He was a member of the Jupiter Hammerheads during the 2019 minor league season. He didn’t take part in a single game in the 2020 minor league since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the suspension of the season.

He was given the responsibility of playing for both the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp when the season started in 2021. In September 2021, the Marlins added his contract to their active roster. On September 18, 2021, he played for the team in his first MLB game.
