Nick Sandlin is an American-born professional baseball player. He plays in the position of a pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team. He has a height of 1.80 m and weighs 77 kg.

He was born on January 10, 1997, in Evans, Georgia in the United States of America. He played high school baseball at Greenbrier High School in Evans, Georgia. After high school, he enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi where he played college baseball for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

In 2017, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Whiles in college, he was awarded the C Spire Ferriss Trophy, which is given to the best collegiate baseball player in Mississippi and was also named Conference USA’s Baseball Pitcher of the Year and the National Pitcher of the Year Award from Perfect Game/Rawlings.

He was drafted in 2018 by the Cleveland Indians in the second round of the draft. He signed with them and was given a signing bonus of $750,000. He made his professional debut that year with the AZL Indians, Lake County Captains, Lynchburg Hillcats, and Akron Rubber Ducks. In the 2019 minor league season, he played for the Akron RubberDucks and Columbus Clippers.

He did not play a minor league game in 2020 as the season got cancelled because of COVID-19. The Guardians called him up to the major leagues in April 2021 and on May 1, 2021, he made his MLB debut for the team when they played against the Chicago White Sox.
