Baseball player Nick Sandlin was born in the United States. He throws pitches for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team. He stands 1.80 meters tall and 77 kg. He was born in the American city of Evans, Georgia, on January 10, 1997. He participated in high school baseball at Evans, Georgia’s Greenbrier High School.

He enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi after finishing high school, where he played baseball for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. During the summer collegiate baseball season of the 2017 Cape Cod Baseball League, he played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

In the second round of the 2018 draft, the Cleveland Indians selected him. After he joined them, they gave him a $750,000 signing bonus. With the AZL Indians, Lake County Captains, Lynchburg Hillcats, and Akron Rubber Ducks, he made his professional debut that year. He participated for the Akron RubberDucks and Columbus Clippers in the 2019 minor league season.

Due to the COVID-19 postponing the start of the season, he did not participate in a minor league game in 2020. He was promoted to the main leagues by the Guardians in April 2021, and on May 1, 2021, he made his MLB debut while playing for the team against the Chicago White Sox.
