American football tight end Noah Ryan Gray was born on April 30, 1999, and he currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.
He attended Duke University for his college football career and was selected by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the NFL Draft in 2021.
Gray spent his childhood in Gardner, Massachusetts, and received his secondary education at Leominster High School.
After spending his first year with the team as a wide receiver, he moved into the quarterback position for the next campaign.
During his junior year, he threw for 1,707 yards, completed 101 passes out of 179 attempts, and scored 21 touchdowns.
When Gray was a senior, he switched positions and played wide receiver again. He was named to the first team after receiving 30 passes for 619 yards and eight touchdowns.
Gray chose to play collegiate football for Duke rather than Temple or Appalachian State, both of which had offered him scholarships.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation has honored Duke tight end, Darius Gray, by naming him to its second team of All-Americans.
He is widely regarded as one of the most promising tight-end prospects for the NFL Draft in 2021. As a junior, Gray participated in all 13 games and finished the season with 51 receptions for 392 yards and three touchdowns.
At the time of the 2021 NFL Draft, Gray was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round, placing them 162nd overall. On May 13, 2021, he put his signature on a rookie deal that was for four years.
In week 10, on Sunday Night Football, he scored the first touchdown of his career in the National Football League against the Las Vegas Raiders.
