He enrolled at Oregon State University after completing his studies at Hunter High School and played five seasons of NCAA football for the Beavers. As a true freshman, he caught 10 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.

He caught four passes for 31 yards and a touchdown in the first game of his sophomore season in 2016 while playing receiver. He was the leading receiver for the Beavers as a redshirt sophomore with 34 receptions, 461 receiving yards, and just two catches. As a redshirt senior, he had a total of 44 receptions for 406 yards and three touchdowns.

On September 5, 2020, he was discharged at the final roster cuts. On September 20, 2020, he made his NFL debut after being claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts that month.
