Nolan Jones is an American professional baseball infielder and outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Nolas Jones went to school in the Cornwells Heights neighborhood of Bensalem, Pennsylvania’s Holy Ghost Preparatory School. When he was in high school, he played shortstop.

Jones went out with a bang by hitting a home run in his final at-bat in high school. He will play baseball at the collegiate level for the University of Virginia after making his commitment.

When it came time for the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, Jones was one of the most highly regarded prospects. Jones was chosen by the Cleveland Indians in the second round of the draft. Jones inked a contract with the Indians on July 1 and received a signing bonus of $2.25 million.

In the very first at-bat of his professional career, Jones went down swinging for the Arizona League Indians. Over the course of his debut season as a professional, he had 109 at-bats and finished with a batting average of.257.

In 2017, Jones was a member of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, where he played the position of batter. Over the course of 62 games, he hit 317 with four home runs, 33 RBIs, and 18 doubles.
