The National Football League’s Washington Commanders have guard Nolan Laufenberg on their roster. He is 1.9 m tall and weighs 143 kg. He played football and was chosen as an offensive all-conference performance three times while attending Castle View High School. He also belongs to the German Honor Society as well as the National Honor Society.

He enrolled in the United States Air Force Academy in 2016 after completing his senior year of high school in order to play football for the Falcons. As a true freshman in 2017, he didn’t participate in any varsity games. He played in twelve games as a sophomore, nine of which he started. He was chosen for both the first team all-Mountain West Conference and the first team after appearing in all thirteen games the following season.

In the 13 games he played in in 2019, he started 12 of them, and he led the team in knockdowns. He was only able to play in six games in the 2020 season because COVID-19 caused it to be shortened. After going undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, Laufenberg was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. The Denver Broncos released him on August 24, 2021.

In September 2021, he joined the practice squad for the Washington Commanders football team. He consented to a reserve/future contract following the 2021 regular season. In August 2022, he was let go by the Commanders, and the next day, he joined the practice squad.
