Professional American football player Odafe Oweh, real name Odafe Jayson Oweh, was originally known as Jayson Oweh. He is an outside linebacker for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He is 114 kg and 1.96 m tall.He played football there while attending Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey.
He received a roster spot for the 2018 Under Armour All-America Game. Oweh pledged to play college football for Penn State. From 2018 to 2020, he was a member of the Penn State Nittany Lions squad at Pennsylvania State University. He participated in four games and recorded two sacks while a true freshman at Penn State.
He participated in 13 games as a sophomore in 2019 and made one start. He finished with 21 tackles and 5 sacks. In the 2020 season, he made 38 tackles, including six tackles for a loss. In the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens. Late in the fourth quarter of his second professional game, Oweh forced his first career turnover and recovered it.
His performance, which included three tackles, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, earned him the title of defensive player of the week. He also blasted Patrick Mahomes with a quarterback hit, which allowed Tavon Young, a teammate, to intercept Mahomes’ pass.
