According to a press release from the Philadelphia Phillies, center fielder Odbel Herrera will begin rehab with the Clearwater Threshers on Tuesday after suffering an oblique strain in late March.
Herrera signed a one-year deal with the Phillies over the summer in order to add to the team’s outfield depth, which currently includes Matt Vierling, Mickey Moniak, and Simón Muzziotti.
