Olaijah Griffin Parents: Meet Warren G and Tennille Griffin

American football cornerback Olaijah Griffin is a free agent. He performs professionally right now. He is also a tall man, standing 1.83 m and weighing 79 kg. When he was a student at Mission Viejo High School, he played football. After graduating from high school, he went to the University of Southern California and played football for the USC Trojans.



In his rookie campaign, he participated in eight games. He had seven tackles, one for loss, before undergoing two shoulder surgeries in the offseason. But in the first five days of Fall Camp, he returned to the football field with a vengeance, recording five interceptions.

In 2020, Griffin rose to the role of top cornerback for USC, holding opposing quarterbacks to a 38% completion rate when throwing his way. This led to him being named as an honorable mention on the All-Pac-12 squad. After being passed over in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills later signed him as an undrafted free agent.

He was released during the final roster cuts, but the next day he was re-signed to the practice squad, where he stayed for the rest of the 2021 season. He was awarded a two-year futures contract on January 24, 2022. He was released on August 14th, 2022. On August 15, 2022, the New York Giants claimed him off of waivers. He was freed on August 29, 2022.
