Omar David Narváez is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. He previously played for the White Sox of Chicago and the Mariners of Seattle.

Narváez signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Rays organization on July 4, 2008, when he was 16 years old. He debuted professionally with the VSL Rays of the Venezuelan Summer League in 2009.

Narváez had a .315 batting average and 27 runs batted in in 47 games. In 2010, he stayed with the VSL Rays, hitting .308 in 46 games with one home run and 20 RBI. Narváez also drew 27 walks while striking out only 11 batters.

For the 2011 season, Narváez joined the GCL Rays of the Gulf Coast League. His batting average dropped to .221 in 47 games, and he drove in 15 runs.

When Narváez joined the Princeton Rays of the Appalachian League in 2012, his hitting average improved back to .305. He had one home run and 16 RBI in 43 games.

For the first time in his career, Narváez was promoted above Rookie–level in 2013. He joined the Single–A New York–Penn League’s Hudson Valley Renegades. In 39 games, he batted .267 and drove in 13 runs.

Narváez was sent to the Milwaukee Brewers on December 5, 2019, in exchange for Adam Hill and a 2020 competitive balance round B draft selection. Narváez hit .176/.294/.269 in 40 games in 2020.
