Odighizuwa received a four-year contract, as determined by the NFL’s slotted wage system. According to Spotrac, the UCLA graduate will earn $660,000 in base pay and $924,761 will be deducted from the team’s salary ceiling for the 2021 season.

The signing of Odighizuwa brings the total number of players in Dallas’s draft class to 11. He is the ninth to do so. Odighizuwa had a successful collegiate career at UCLA before moving to Dallas. During his tenure with the Bruins from 2017-2020, the 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive player recorded 120 total tackles (67 solo, 27.5 for loss), 11.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles over 37 total games played.



As a senior, he was named to the first team of All-Pac-12 after recording 12 solo tackles, six tackles for loss, and four sacks over seven total games played.
