Parker Hesse College And Pro Career
Hesse was a student atlethe at the unviversity and played for the Iowa Hawkeyes for five seasons, redshirting as a true freshman. During his redshirt year, he began the season as a linebacker in practice; but, toward the end of the season, he was changed to the defensive end position.
After playing in 52 games during his college career, he finished with 182 tackles, 14 sacks, 31 tackles for loss, and two interceptions.
The Atlanta Falcons announced on May 13, 2021 that they had signed Hesse to a contract. On October 9, 2021, Hesse was released by the Falcons and re-signed to the practice squad.
On November 18th, he was moved up to the active roster and given more responsibility. On December 6th, he was placed back on the practice squad after being released from the active roster.
