Patrick Corbin, full name Patrick Alan Corbin is a well-known baseball player based in the USA. He plays as a pitcher for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Patrick grew up in New York and was born on July 19, 1989, in Clay, New York in the USA. 

He has his high school education and amateur baseball career at Cicero-North Syracuse High School (C-NS) in Cicero in New York. When he graduated from high school, he had bad grades so he could not enrol at a four-year college that would allow him to play college baseball.

Due to this, he decided to attend Mohawk Valley Community College for only his freshman year. There, he played college baseball for them. He later transferred to Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.

During the 2009 MLB draft, the Los Angeles Angels drafted him out of college. He signed with them and made his professional debut that year playing for the Orem Owlz of the Rookie-level Pioneer League. He was promoted that same season to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the Class A-Advanced California League.

The Angels traded him in 2012 to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Patrick made his MLB debut with the Diamondbacks on April 30, 2012, when they played against the Miami Marlins.
