The Baltimore Ravens made the announcement on Wednesday that they have formally signed first-round pick Patrick Queen, a linebacker from LSU.
LSU only used Queen, who is now 23, as a starter for one season. In this year’s NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens chose him with the 28th overall pick.
It is anticipated that Queen will sign a rookie deal for $12,161,670 over the course of four years. The deal will also include a signing bonus of $6,404,851. The Ravens have the option to pick up an additional year on the deal and play it out until the 2024 season.
According to Lance Zeirlien, he is comparable to the seasoned LB Thomas Davis of the Redskins.
Queen finished his college career with a total of 131 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one interception, two pass defenses, and one fumble recovery. He also had four pass defenses and one interception.
