Patrick Queen is a professional football player for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. He plays middle linebacker while the Ravens are on the field. He weighs 105 kg and is 1.83 meters tall. He played football at False River Academy in middle school before going to high school.
He later played linebacker and running back in football while attending Livonia High School. He was a member of Livonia High School’s 2014 state-champion football team. As a senior in 2016, he rushed for 1,487 yards and 19 touchdowns in addition to 66 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and six passes broken. He also participated in the 2014 National Combine, where he grabbed first place.
He played collegiate football for the LSU Tigers as a student at Louisiana State University. He recorded six tackles in the 12 games he played in as a true freshman. By the time his second season was up, he had made 40 tackles. He recorded eight tackles against Clemson, 2.5 of them for a loss, and a combined one sack, which resulted in him being named the defensive MVP of the 2020 National Championship Game.
He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the opening round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In the Cleveland Browns’ 38-6 loss, he made his professional debut. In October 2020, Queen won the AFC Defensive Player of the Week honor for his performance in Week 5.
