Paul Campbell, born Paul Alan Campbell happens to be an American-born professional baseball player. Paul plays for the Miami Marlins baseball team and serves as a pitcher in the team. He wears the number 53 jersey in the team.

Paul played baseball when he was in high school at Malden Catholic High School located in Malden, Massachusetts. He completed high school in 2014 and enrolled at Clemson University where he played college baseball for the Clemson Tigers.

He played for the Tampa Bay Rays from 2017 through to 2020 when they drafted him in the 21st round of the 2017 MLB draft. He played with the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits in the 2019 season. During the 2020 Rule 5 draft, Paul was chosen by the Miami Marlins.

Before the start of the 2021 season, the Marlins’ added him to their Opening Day roster. He was called up to the majors in April 2021 and he made his MLB debut for the Marlins on April 3, 2021, when they played a game with the Tampa Bay Rays.

He played in his first MLB game in May that year. On May 3, 2021, the Marlins suspended him from playing in 80 games after he violated the MLB’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
