Peter Lambert, born Peter Joseph Lambert is of the skilled professional baseball pitchers known to play in the major leagues for the Colorado Rockies baseball team of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Peter grew up in California where he was born on April 18, 1997. He was a student at San Dimas High School in San Dimas, California where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team. During his senior year in high school, he was named the Los Angeles Times prep baseball player of the year.

After high school, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 2nd round of the 2015 MLB draft. He signed with them instead of going to play college baseball for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). That year, he made his professional debut with the Grand Junction Rockies.

In the 2016 minor league season, he was assigned to spend the season playing for the Asheville Tourists. He spent the following season with the Lancaster JetHawks. He played for both the Hartford Yard Goats and the Albuquerque Isotopes in 2018 and played only with Albuquerque Isotopes in 2019.

The Rockies selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues in June 2019. He made his MLB debut on June 6, 2019, for the Rockies when they played a match against the Chicago Cubs. He got injured during the 2020 MLB season so he has to undergo a Tommy John surgery.
