Peter Joseph Lambert is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball. He was born on April 18, 1997, in the United States.
In the city of San Dimas, in the state of California, Lambert received his high school education. After finishing his senior year in 2015 with a perfect 13-0 record and a 0.34 earned run average, the Los Angeles Times named him the prep baseball player of the year (ERA).
It was announced that he would be playing collegiate baseball for the UCLA Bruins. In the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, Lambert was selected by the Colorado Rockies to join their organization.
2015 was the year he made his debut in the professional ranks, appearing for both the Grand Junction Rockies and the Asheville Tourists.
In 2018, he pitched for both the Albuquerque Isotopes and the Hartford Yard Goats, and he made a total of 26 stars for both organizations, with a record of 10-7 with a 3.28 earned run average.
In 2019, the Rockies took him under their wing and promoted him to the main leagues, where he made his debut on June 6, 2019, against the Chicago Cubs. In 2020, Lambert would have surgery on Tommy John and would be sidelined for the entire 2020 season as a result.
