Peter Solomon, full name Peter Joseph Solomon happens to be a professional baseball player with the Houston Astros baseball team. He plays as a pitcher for them and has a height of 1.93 m.
He was born on August 16, 1996, in Washington, D.C. in the United States but grew up in Maryland where he attended high school. He played baseball at Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, Maryland where he was a student. He was drafted out of high school by the San Diego Padres in the 21st round of the 2014 MLB draft but he did not sign with them and enrolled at the University of Notre Dame to play college baseball for the Fighting Irish.
Before he graduated from the University, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2016 where he has named a league All-Star. During the 2017 MLB draft, he was drafted by the Houston Astros in the fourth round the draft.
He signed with them and made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast League Astros. He played between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Buies Creek Astros in 2018 and played with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers in 2019.
The 2020 minor league season was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was promoted to the major leagues for the first time on April 17 2021 and he made his MLB debut the following day.
