Tight end Peyton Hendershot competes in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He weighs 115 kg and stands 1.93 m tall. He played football while attending Tri-West Hendricks High School. As a junior, he caught 51 receptions for 685 yards and eight touchdowns. He also made 30 tackles, four sacks, five tackles for loss, and three pass breakups while playing defensive end.

In May 2021, he received a liberal studies degree. In 2022, Hendershot became an undrafted free agent and signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
