During his redshirt sophomore season, Strong had 143 carries, which led to him gaining 1,018 yards and scoring eight touchdowns. For his efforts, Strong was recognized by the first team All-MVFC.

He ran for 707 yards during the spring 2021 season, which was moved forward from the fall 2021 season because of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Strong’s stat line as a redshirt senior included rushing for 1,686 yards and 18 touchdowns, catching 22 passes for 150 yards, and completing four of his four pass attempts for 62 yards and four touchdowns. Strong also had four receptions for 150 yards.
