Preston Williams is a wide receiver with the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins in American football. In the United States of America, in the city of Lovejoy, Georgia, he was born on March 27, 1997. He played high school football while attending Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia.
After graduating from high school, he played collegiate football at the University of Tennessee. In his two seasons of play at Tennessee (2015–2016), he hauled in 16 passes for 247 yards and two scores. He resumed his academic career with the Colorado State Rams football team after transferring to Colorado State University in 2017.
Williams joined the Miami Dolphins in May 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He was added to the 53-man roster. In the Dolphins’ 2019 season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, he made his NFL debut. He has four receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown reception of 32 yards during their 43-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5 of the 2020 campaign.
He suffered a foot injury and was put on injured reserve in November 2020. In March 2022, he extended his contract with the Dolphins by one year.
