Preston Williams is a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League in American football. Williams was a March 27, 1997, baby.

He played college football while attending Colorado State University. Williams attended Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia, where they completed their high school education.

He has committed to the University of Tennessee in order to play collegiate football. Williams was a student and athlete at the University of Tennessee from 2015 to 2016.

He recorded a total of 16 receptions throughout that time, resulting in 247 yards and two touchdowns. He transferred from another university to Colorado State University in 2017.

Williams had 96 receptions for 1,345 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2018, after being forced to sit out a season due to NCAA transfer restrictions.

He led the Mountain West Conference in receiving yards and receptions while finishing second in the league in receiving touchdowns.

Following the 2018 season, he made the decision to forego his collegiate football senior season in order to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

On May 9, 2019, Williams became a member of the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent after signing with the team. It was in the Dolphins’ season opener against the Baltimore Ravens that he made his debut in the National Football League.

Williams was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) after leaving the game with a knee injury, which put an end to his rookie season.

At the time of his injury, he led the team in receptions with 32, had 428 yards receiving, and scored three touchdowns. He concluded the season as the leading receiver on the team.
