While a student-athlete at the University of Arkansas, Bell was part of the Prairie View A&M Panthers football team.
In the 2019 National Football League Draft, Bell participated in the NFL combine and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round with the 230th overall pick.
On August 31, 2019, he was released from active duty and re-signed to the practice squad. Bell was later released by the Raiders on October 15th of 2019.
Bell was given a spot on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad after being signed by the team on November 5, 2019, then on December 30, 2019, he signed a reserve/future contract with the Buccaneers.
