For Virginia Tech, Raheem Blackshear plays running back in American football. When he was younger, Blackshear loved the sport. He developed a passion for American football.
On December 2, Blackshear was born. He currently measures 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 194 lbs. He has been playing collegiate football since 2017, and he is currently in his junior class.
He wore number 2 for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and number 5 for the Virginia Tech Hokies, respectively. Raheem attended Philadelphia’s Archbishop Catholic High School. He started playing American football seriously in high school.
The Pennsylvania Football Writers selected him as an athlete for their First-team 5A All-state squad. Along with Kyle Pitts, he played on the same prep team for the Atlanta Falcons.
In his second collegiate game against Morgan State, he carried the ball 14 times for 102 yards and a touchdown of career-caliber. A 2017 honorable mention for the Big Ten Network All-Freshman team went to football player Blackshear. He was also chosen to the Big Ten Academic All-Team.

With a 3.8 GPA, Raheem graduated with a degree in criminology in 2021.
He has since devoted more time to college football.
