Raleigh Webb, a former wide receiver for both Allatoona and Citadel, has signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent.

With this signing, Webb makes history as the first player from the Allatoona Buccaneers football team to join the NFL. The Ravens and The Citadel made the news on Friday.

In 2019, his best year, he had 30 receptions for 621 yards and 10 touchdowns, good enough for first-team all-Southern Conference honors.

Webb became well-known due to his spectacular performance. In 2019, he caught a touchdown pass for 84 yards against Samford and 73 yards against East Tennessee State.

Webb caught a 91-yard touchdown pass against Furman in 2018, setting a new school record, but one of his career’s most impressive catches came on a 30-yard pass against Georgia Tech.
