Randy Gregory’s Height: How Tall Is Randy Gregory?

Randy Gregory was ranked as the 2014 preseason No. 5 player in college football by Sporting News while still a student.

He made 54 tackles as a junior, ranking sixth on the team, along with 10 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 16 quarterback hurries, one interception, three passes defended, one forced fumble, and two blocked kicks. He also started 10 of the 11 games he played in.

Due to an injury, he was unable to play in the second game versus Fresno State University. He made the decision to skip his senior year and declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.

Gregory was predicted by numerous mock drafts to go high in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft as early as May 2014. But after testing positive for marijuana during the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, he was passed over during the first round of the draft and dropped down to the second round before being chosen by the Dallas Cowboys (60th overall).

In 2015, he showed promise in the preseason (three sacks in three games) and in the season opener against the New York Giants (three quarterback pressures in only 18 snaps), but he was hindered in his development after suffering a high ankle sprain in the fourth quarter that kept him out of the next four games.

Gregory returned to the field in week 7 against the Giants, but his first career tackle didn’t come until the team’s defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 10.

In that game, Gregory made one solo and one assisted tackle. He failed to record a sack but did manage 16 quarterback pressures (fourth on the team) and one tackle for loss during the season.

Randy Gregory is an American football outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL).

He suffered a knee injury in Week 4 and was placed on injured reserve on October 4, 2022.
