Rico Sharod Dowdle Jr. is a running back for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He was born on June 14, 1998, and his full name is Rico Sharod Dowdle Jr.

He attended South Carolina for his college football career. Coming out of high school, Dowdle was a three-star recruit for the University of South Carolina’s football team and had already made his commitment to play there.

As a senior, he was moved from his previous position as a running back to the quarterback position, and he led the club to an overall record of 11-2 and a conference record of 6-0.

He ran the ball 247 times for 2,545 yards and scored 51 touchdowns on the ground. His 63 total touchdowns set a record for the most scored in a single season in WNC history.
