Hunt was born in Wiergate, Texas, but when he was a little child, he moved to Fort Worth, also in the state of Texas, with his family.

His family relocated back to the Wiergate neighborhood for a short time before evacuating to Fort Worth in the wake of Hurricane Rita. His family then relocated back to the Wiergate neighborhood once more, which resulted in a third move back to Fort Worth following the destruction of his family’s home
