Quinn was considered one of the top prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft as early as April 2010. He didn’t play in any of his junior seasons, but in January 2011, he was still anticipated to be a top-10 pick. After the combine, his stock marginally declined, placing him at No. 11 in early March.

Quinn and James Hall, a seasoned veteran, battled it out for the starting defensive end position throughout training camp. Quinn will serve as the season’s starting main backup defensive end, according to head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
