Ronnie Perkins is a linebacker for the National Football League’s New England Patriots in American football. He stands 1.91 meters tall and weighs 112 kilograms. In St. Louis, Missouri, he attended Lutheran High School North. He received the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro football defensive player of the year honor as a senior in 2017.

In 2018, he participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Perkins pledged to play college football at the University of Oklahoma. He participated in the Oklahoma Sooners football program as a collegiate player. He started seven games as a true freshman in 2018 for Oklahoma, compiling 37 tackles and five sacks.

Prior to being suspended from the 2019 Peach Bowl due to a failing drug test, he started each of his 13 games during his sophomore season. He had six sacks and 38 tackles before the season was through. He missed five games of his junior season in 2020 because of the suspension. In the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected him.
