Ronny Mauricio happens to be one of the youngest minor league players with the New York Mets baseball team. He plays as a shortstop for the team and has a height of 1.91 m and a weight of 75 kg.

Ronny is from the Dominican Republic. He was born on April 4, 2001, in San Pedro De Macoris in the Dominican Republic where he had his amateur baseball career. The New York Mets baseball team signed him as an international free agent in July 2017.

He made his professional debut in 2018 after he was assigned to play for both the Gulf Coast Mets and Kingsport Mets. During the 2019 minor league season, he was assigned to spend it with the Columbia Fireflies with whom he was named a South Atlantic League All-Star.

There were no minor league games for him to play in 2020 as the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When the 2021 season started, Ronny was assigned to play for both the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. The Mets selected him to their 40-man roster on November 19, 2021.
