Ryan Donald Feltner is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Colorado Rockies in Major League Baseball. He was born on September 2, 1996, in the United States.
He made his MLB debut in 2021. Feltner received his secondary education at Walsh Jesuit High School, which is located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Both the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for the state of Ohio and the Plain Dealer Baseball Pitcher of the Year were awarded to him in 2015 when he was a senior.
Feltner was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 25th round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2015, but he did not sign with the team. Instead, he attended Ohio State University and played college baseball there.
In 2016, he participated in collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League. The following year, he rejoined the league with the Bourne Braves and was selected as an all-star for the league.
In 2018, he continued to play in the league with the Bourne Braves. In the fourth round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, the Colorado Rockies selected him after he had completed his junior year at Ohio State.
