Ryan Jeffers

Ryan Michael Jeffers, also known as Ryan Jeffers, is a member of the Minnesota Twins organization and a professional baseball player. He is the catcher for the Twins. He has a height of 1.93 meters.

Ryan played baseball while a student at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Because he was passed over for the draft, he attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and played baseball for the team after graduating from high school. He played for the Coastal Plain League’s Wilmington Sharks.

He also played baseball with the Upper Valley Nighthawks of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, where he was selected as an All-Star. He was taken by the Minnesota Twins in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He signed with the Twins and began his professional career that year with the Elizabethton Twins before being promoted to the Cedar Rapids Kernels throughout the season.

Before getting promoted to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, he spent the 2019 minor league season with the Fort Myers Miracle, where he was chosen as a Florida State League All-Star. He was promoted to the major leagues and added to the Twins’ active roster in August of 2020. He made his MLB debut on August 20, 202,0 for the team.
