Ryan Sebastian Sherriff is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies in the United States. He was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Rays in the past.

He was voted First Team All-Western State Conference South Division as a sophomore at Glendale Community College in 2011. The St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the 28th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.

He was named Cardinals Organization Pitcher of the Month in June 2012, as well as Cardinal Nation and Scout.com Palm Beach Cardinals Starting Pitcher of the Year in 2012.

He was named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week on August 5, 2013, and the Palm Beach Cardinals Starting Pitcher of the Year after posting a 2.57 ERA in 18 starts.

He was converted to a reliever in 2014, and he had a 2.88 ERA in 44 games between AA and AAA.

While pitching for the Memphis Redbirds, he was nominated to the 2016 Pacific Coast League All-Star Team, and he concluded the season with a 7-1 record, 3 saves, and a 2.84 ERA in 49 relief appearances.

After the 2016 season, the Cardinals assigned him to the Arizona Fall League’s Glendale Desert Dogs. Sherriff competed in the 2017 World Baseball Classic qualifying for Team Israel. He was chosen to the PCL All-Star Team in 2017.

In August of 2017, he made his Major League debut. In June 2018, Sherriff had Tommy John surgery, which ended his season. In August of that year, he was released by the Cardinals and signed by the Rays in October.
