Ryan Sherriff is an American born professional baseball pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. Ryan played baseball for the Culver City High School, in Culver City, California.



After high school, he was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 33rd round of the 2010 MLB draft but he did not sign with them and enrolled at West Los Angeles College (Culver City), where he played college baseball. He later transferred to Glendale Community College, where he continued to play college baseball.

During the 2011 MLB draft, he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 28th round the draft. He signed with them and made his professional debut that year when he was assigned to play for both the Johnson City Cardinals of the Rookie Appalachian League and the Batavia Muckdogs of Class A- New York-Penn League.

For the 2012 minor league season, he was with the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Class A+ Florida State League.  In 2015, he played for both the Springfield Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds and spent the 2016 season with only the Memphis Redbirds where he was named to the 2016 PCL All-Star Team.

The Cardinals called him up to the major leagues on August 23, 2017, and he made his MLB debut on August 25 that same year for the Cardinals. He was claimed off waivers in November 2021 by the Philadelphia Phillies.
