Dennis Ryan Tepera is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Angels.
Tepera formerly played for the Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Chicago White Sox.
He graduated from Brazoswood High School in Texas and went on to play college baseball for the Sam Houston State Bearkats.
Tepera attended Blinn College before transferring to Sam Houston State University after graduating from Brazoswood High School in Clute, Texas. In his senior year, 2009, he finished 2-1 with a 7.33 ERA in 43 innings pitched.
Tepera was taken by the Blue Jays in the 19th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. He was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays, where he appeared in 11 games, including five starts.
Tepera was 3-1 with a 1.72 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 3623 innings. He was promoted to the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts in 2010 and tossed 120 innings in 24 appearances (22 starts).
