American baseball player  Ryan James Vilade plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball as an outfielder. He was raised in Frisco, Texas, and was born on February 18, 1999.

He attended Frisco High School for his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Following his junior year, he took part in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field in July 2016, winning the Home Run Derby with 18 home runs.

He competed for the 18U American national team that autumn. He signed to play baseball in college for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Vilade was chosen by the Colorado Rockies with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. He $1.4 million contract.



Following his signing, he made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Pioneer League’s Grand Junction Rockies. In his first at-bat, he blasted a home run, earning him a spot in the All-Star game and he played 33 games for Grand Junction during the entire season.

Vilade’s contract was chosen by Colorado on September 18, 2021, and he was added to the active roster so that he could play his first game in Major League Baseball that night at Nationals Park against the Washington Nationals.

Vilade started the 2022 campaign with the Isotopes in the minor leagues.
