Sam Roberts is a defensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He attended Northwest Missouri State University, where he participated in college football.

Roberts, a huge fan of the New England Patriots, was initially scouted by Northwest Missouri State as a non-star recruit out of Waynesville High School to join the team’s offensive line. After a redshirt freshman season, he was finally switched to defense and went on to become an effective player for the Bearcats.

He played in 50 games over the course of the following five seasons, compiling 184 tackles, including 47 for loss, 18.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and 18.5 total tackles. In addition, throughout his time at college, he was able to deflect five kicks, earning him the title of MIAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2021.

Robert, who was the team captain, was awarded the Cliff Harris Award, which is presented yearly to the player who is deemed to be the finest non-Division I defender.

As an interior lineman, Roberts has some good size thanks to his height of 6 feet 5 inches, weight of 293 pounds, and a gigantic wingspan of 81 and a half inches. He was a productive player who more than held his own at the East-West Shrine Bowl, and he accomplished what he needed to do in order to succeed at the Division II level.
