A defensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League, Samuel Roberts is an American football player. For the Patriots, he dons jersey number 96. At 1.96 meters tall and 132 kilograms, he is also quite tall. He was born on April 14, 1998, in the Missouri town of Waynesville, where he later raised his family.
His hometown’s Waynesville R-VI Reorganized School District provided him with his high school education and football career. Following graduation from high school, he attended Northwest Missouri State University, where from 2016 to 2021 he was a student, and played collegiate football for the Bearcats.
Sam Roberts was named to the First Team All-MIAA in both his junior year in 2019 and his final year in 2021 of collegiate football. In college, he was also awarded Second-team All-MIAA honors in 2020. After the 2021 football season, he was presented with the Cliff Harris Award.
