Samuel Roberts is a defensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He is an American football player. He wears jersey number 96 for the Patriots. He stands 1.96 meters tall and weighs 132 kilograms. He was born on April 14, 1998, in the town of Waynesville, Missouri, and raised there.
He attended the Waynesville R-VI Reorganized School District in his hometown for his high school education as well as his football career. He attended Northwest Missouri State University from 2016 to 2021, where he played collegiate football for the Bearcats football team after graduating from high school.
Whiles playing collegiate football in college, Sam Roberts was a two time First-team All-MIAA in his junior year in 2019 and his final year in 2021. He also won the Second-team All-MIAA in 2020 in college. He was given the Cliff Harris Award after the 2021 football season. That same year, he was awarded theMIAA Defensive Player of the Year. He graduated that year and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
