The native of Woodbury, Minnesota started his football career at East Ridge High School in Woodbury. He played for three years at East Ridge before transferring to Allen, Texas.

As a multi-athlete, he didn’t only play football but also played basketball in high school. Green was considered a four-star recruit by ESPN and rated highly by many recruiting websites.



Green led the Raptors to a 9-2 record in the state playoffs as a junior. He threw for 1,850 yards and scored 20 touchdowns while also rushing for 551 yards and scoring five touchdowns on 107 carries. He had 142 pass completions.

Green was recognized as a member of the All-Metro Second Team, and he led his team to an 8-2 record as a sophomore by completing 86 passes for 1,323 yards and 13 touchdowns, in addition to rushing 53 times for 182 yards and scoring two touchdowns

Seth Green attended the University of Minnesota and played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from 2016 to 2020.

Seth Green participated in one game as a backup quarterback against Middle Tennessee, making his Minnesota and collegiate debuts.

During his sophomore year, Green was deployed as a wildcat quarterback and receiver. He ran the ball 76 times for a total of 282 yards (he only had one negative rush the whole season), and he scored eight touchdowns.
