Shane Bieber, born Shane Robert Bieber is a professional baseball pitcher from America who plays for the Cleveland Indians baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). Shane is 1.9m and weighs 91 kg.
Shane grew up in California where he was born on May 31, 1995. He had his non-professional baseball career at Laguna Hills High School in Laguna Hills in California and at the University of California where he played college baseball for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos baseball team.
Before he graduated from college, he played collegiate summer baseball in the West Coast League for the Cowlitz Black Bears and the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in 2014 and 2015. During the 2016 MLB draft, the Cleveland Indians drafted him in the 4th round of the draft.
To begin his professional career, he was made to play with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers that season. Shane spent the 2017 minor league season playing for the Lake County Captains, Lynchburg Hill cats and Akron Rubber Ducks. The Indians promoted him to the major leagues in May 2018 and he made his MLB debut the same day.
